Wrong Way to Hope: A Story of Young Adults and Cancer
On July 11th, 2009 a group of young adult cancer survivors from across Canada embarked on the adventure of a lifetime: kayaking down the remote Owyhee River in southeast Oregon. They spent 12 days travelling, kayaking and camping while filming everything with the goal of highlighting the unique challenges of being a young adult with cancer. The film will showcase the strength and will of the survivors as they apply the life lessons they learned from their cancer experience to the challenges they face on the river
