There are many benefits to living with your parents. You can save money, eat good food, have less responsibility… also free cable, cookies, bandaids, cleaning supplies, furniture and other important things that most young adults can’t afford. Especially in Calgary, where you have to be well on your way to becoming a millionaire to even consider buying a house or be willing to live in abject poverty while you pay a millionaire hefty rent checks every month, living with you parents is very attractive. Despite the overwhelming reasons for us to stay living in my parents basement Bonnie and I decided it was time to move out and a good friend was able to make it possible. (Thanks Mike!!)
