Tonight we decided to venture into Kensington, a trendy district that is disinterested enough for the mullet to not even get a second glance (although I did sneak up a few Shave for the Brave posters to peak some interest). We met up with two very cool people Josh and Dalyce, collectively known as Sable Island, who are going to give us a song of theirs to use in the documentary that we are producing called, “Wrong Way to Hope.” We had a good time sharing stories and getting to know them over $4 cups of tea. One the way back to the car I found the second love of my life: The Country Cruiser (the first love was my old Volkswagen van Chloe… umm, I mean my beautiful wife Bonnie).
- Reminiscing about the many winter months spent living in my van, in the impound lot, with a large family of mice named the Fredricksons .
